Smiles for Life

Smiles for Life is a preventive oral health program for seniors (60+) held primarily on Fridays  at the Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center. The objective for this program is to provide low-income seniors an affordable alternative for routine oral health services.

There is virtually no access to affordable dental care in Kitsap County for adults, and more and more patients are using emergency rooms at Harrison Hospital and elsewhere.  Emergency dental care is painful, preventable, and more expensive to treat. Preventive dental services are provided to older adults at reduced fees or on a sliding fee scale based on income.
